Quick causes (often this is normal)
- The car is asleep — it won't wake up via App immediately. Try opening a door/trunk or wait. Remotely — send an SMS to the SIM in the car or call it (works less often).
- Tesla servers/connectivity are slow — happens briefly.
When to go to service
- The car has been offline for months, doesn't bind to App; modem/telematics errors; the comms module/antennas/certificates need checking.
