About Tesla FAQ BY
Where the articles come from, how we check and update them, and why the site carries no ads.
What this site is
Tesla FAQ BY is a knowledge base for Tesla owners and buyers: known issues, upgrades, repair shops and useful tools. Articles are tied to a configuration (model, battery, build year, drivetrain), so you can see what applies to your car. The site is available in six languages: Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, English, Lithuanian and Polish.
Right now: 83 articles and 89 shops in the directory.
Where the articles come from
The base is the TESLA Belarus owners' Telegram chat, a Russian-speaking group with more than 400,000 messages. We gather scattered threads about one problem, cross-check what owners and mechanics report against each other and against public sources (Tesla documentation, trade press, owner forums), and turn it into one article: symptoms, cause, repair, cost.
Key claims link to the specific chat messages (t.me/tesla_belarus/…), so anyone can open the original and see exactly what the owner or mechanic wrote.
Checked by a shop
Some articles have been read by a specialist from a shop in our directory who confirmed they are technically accurate. These carry a green ✅ badge with the shop's name and the date of the check, and the same mark appears next to them on the shops page.
How articles are updated
Articles are updated when the chat brings new experience: different prices, new failure causes, Tesla recalls. Every article shows the date of its last update. If you spot a mistake or outdated data, tell us: we read every report and fix the text.
Where we are
The project is run from Minsk, Belarus, so most of the experience in the articles is Belarusian and prices mostly come from Minsk shops. Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine have their own shop directories on the site.
Independence
The site carries no ads and no affiliate links, and a place in the shop directory cannot be bought: the order comes from community votes and reviews. The site is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.
The third-party tools on the Utilities page are listed because the community uses them; the site receives nothing from them.
The one exception is the site partner for certificate restoration, @Adessit16. Its card is always labelled “Site partner” and appears only on pages about certificates.
