Overnight into 14 June half the owners lost Teslamate to a 403 error, and the two events were tied together on the spot. The post-mortem showed a different cause: Tesla’s authorisation server stopped letting in clients with an old TLS handshake. A client-side fix closed it within a day and nobody had to pay.
