Battery Test — battery calibration via Service Mode
Battery Test is the BMS calibration procedure. Where and how to run it in Belarus, what charger you need, how long to wait.
Description
Battery Test is the BMS calibration procedure that shows the real state of the battery and balances the cells. Critically important after buying a used Tesla and periodically to maintain battery health.
How to run Battery Test
- Only on a slow charger (Type 2 / Wall Charger), NOT on CCS.
- You need a charger that doesn't drop the session on pause — in Minsk, NB and EVICA stations work.
- Discharge to 2-3%, start the test in Service Mode, wait 12-18 hours.
- The charger must deliver at least 5 kW.
- Do this once every six months for proper calibration.
