Symptoms
- BMS_w107/BMS_f107 errors and related sensor/measurement circuit codes.
- Inability to charge/drive, mismatch between total voltage and the "sum by bricks".
The essence of the problem
In V2 100-kWh packs, thin contact "tabs"/harnesses are used to read voltage from cell groups. Due to vibrations, thermal cycling, or impact, contacts can detach → the BMS loses correct readings.
Solutions
- Diagnostics of modules, finding the defective harness.
- Restoration/resoldering/replacement of the harness (difficult and requires experience).
- With multiple detachments — module/pack replacement.
Belarus budget
- Removal/diagnostics/local repair: ≈ $1 000–3 000 (more often ~$2 000).

Full list →Tesla Model S/X stuck HV contactor: BMS_f038 errors, won't sleep, won't charge — diagnosis and replacement
Sticking HV battery contactors on early 85/90 kWh packs cause BMS_f038 / BMS_f087 errors, prevent the car from sleeping (12V drains overnight), and after a charge-station pyrofuse trigger leave the car unable to drive or charge. Service Mode diagnostics, replacement procedure, and why this is one of the few HV jobs you should not DIY.
Model S/X refresh (2021+): battery sealing issues (officially acknowledged by Tesla)
Tesla has officially acknowledged a battery sealing issue: bulletin SB-25-16-002 'Replace Flood Port Plungers' (05.05.2025) — free goodwill replacement of 5 flood ports on S/X built 01.2021–22.09.2022 (US and Europe). Caveat: the bulletin covers external flooding; there are still no confirmed 'breathing' moisture-ingress cases on Palladium packs.
Model S/X: LDU problems (the large rear motor) — seal leak and failure
Typical defect: coolant leaks past the rotor seal → ingress into the stator/inverter, noise/corrosion and motor death. What to check, how to fix it, and what it costs in Belarus.
